Mr. Salas is responsible for the analysis, underwriting and execution of StoneBeck's investments. His duties include financial modeling and sensitivity analysis, conducting detailed market research, preparing transaction summaries, investment memorandums, coordinating due diligence processes and ensuring successful execution of transactions. Furthermore, he is actively involved in StoneBeck's origination activities.
Prior to StoneBeck, Mr. Salas worked at Cantor Commercial Real Estate ("CCRE") as an Associate in the Originations Group where he helped originate, underwrite, analyze and close over $700 million of fixed and floating rate commerical mortgage loans collateralized by office, retail, multi-family, student housing, industrial, hospitality and self-storage properties across the United States.
Mr. Salas received a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Columbia Business School with a concentration in Real Estate Finance. Prior to Columbia Business School, Mr. Salas served for six years as an officer in the U.S. Army where he served two tours in Baghdad, Iraq.
